Okay, so I admit that I’m sometimes guilty of claiming that certain reform efforts tend to miss the forest for the trees, but I also recognize that I have a particular agenda that I wish were more heavily addressed. Teacher writes 'stupid' on student's forehead →

District leaders said it was especially troubling to learn that [the teacher] took the time to write “stupid” backwards on the child’s forehead so he could read it in the mirror.
I am angered by this. No teacher should ever say that word to a student.
I get mad when I hear teachers call students stupid or “idiot,” but this is beyond terrible.
